Can anyone suggest a good mechanic/workshop ? My M2 Cyclone has developed an 'oil related' problem ( oil light went off, then on/off intermittently ). I haven't had chance yet to drop the oil pump off to inspect the drive gears, but having read a lot on here about oil pump related problems, I think I am going to need the services of a Buell M2 engine expert.......and possibly a lot of money I live in Southampton so nearer the better.
Cheers

First thing is to check the pressure switch. They are known to fail. Tubbs will likely have one. Then if the problem isn't fixed, follow your other option.

I'll be a very happy man if it is just a faulty pressure switch...........if I drop the oil pump and find the gears haven't chewed up, I'm not sure how to tell if I still have the original dodgy gears or the better quality replacement gears ? is it easy to tell the difference ? If I do still have the original gears I will obviously be replacing them with the better quality type.
