Hmm.. Just discovered that my M2 Cyclone has 2 teeth missing from the belt. Any ideas on the best place to get a new one? Thanks |

Is it worth considering a chain conversion? |

no cush drive rubber in the rear wheel so if you go chain, the shock goes direct to the gearbox also it can rub on the swing arm |

Good point. I'm not fond of the mess chains make either. So, a new belt it is...come here wallet - no need to scared |

Well, I changed the belt and the rear isolators on the Cyclone. Took me about 3 hours, but I took my time, and tried not to make any mistakes. In fact the whole job was easier than I thought it was going to be. The only part that was a bit of a pain was removing the rear hugger - the Torx fasteners are right in-line with the rear peg frame loops. I ended up using ratchet straps to compress the suspension so I could remove them. Just need it to stop raining now........ |
