Indeed, I am thinking the plugs are wet or fouled or the rear hasn't been checked at the same time as the front.

I'll lend a coil if you pay postage and as long you promise to return it (I lent an ECM out once and a broken one was returned. Imagine how pissed off I was)

hi pash thanks for the offer of the coil not many people like you around any more . i will try to buy a new one if i can so thanks anyway does anyone no were to get one .when i tried to start it on sunday it gave out a loud bang as if it was misfiring and did not start .so i have a go at the coil frist and go from there .and plugs .and see wot happens .

hi all bin and put new plugs in today and have no spark on front and back so any thoughs of help on this

So back to the question...

To generate a spark, you need the following:

12V to the ignition module
5V from the ignition module to the Cam Position Sensor
0V output from the CPS to the ignition module when the gap in the trigger rotor passes
5V output from the CPS to the ignition module when there is no gap
12V switched output from the ignition module to the coil
Good internal insulation in the coil
Good HT leads
Good plugs
A current path between both cylinder heads

hi all just a up date have put a new coil on and fire up and ran for a little bit and then cut out again .and turns over and dont start again .not sure were to go next put new plugs as well
