check engine lamp came on,flat battery, mr fluke accross the freshly recharged battery shows 12.7 volts dc,engine running 11.6 volts dc mr fluke accross each phase from the stater to earth shows 20+volts ac @2000+ RPM, mr fluke between each phase & ground shows no continuity & 0.04 ohms between each phase

i recon my regulaters gone tits up any one confirm

can't confirm, but your logic's sound.

if it was my bike i'd be checking the rectifier

following a message from Rays i checked the 77 connecter could'nt see much wrong but cleaned & tightend it anyway, tested battery voltage 14volts @2000rpm
