Just called HD chester for a new battery for my xb 12 57plate..the part guy quoted me £137 inc..
is that right????

I'm sure they are not that price at Riders of Bristol.

Bosch and stuff are cheap (see Ebay) but the terminals are set back so you end up having to bodge with washers and stuff... Do tell if there are other batteries with flush terminals...

At least they tell you what the warranty is , not like Bosch that advertise a 5 year warranty and then won't honour it. Apparently NO Bosch automotive product is guaranteed for more than 12 months.

I use these batteries, bought two this year for other bikes and have to say that they are very good, the Buell battery I have is the original, so 9 years old, I suspect I will be buying another soon!

I bought two Motobatt last year for Muffin and the Gerry ............ they do seem very good.
