what revs(typically) does the voes switch at. or what Mbar.?

The switch should close at between 170 & 205 mBar absolute - if it closes at less than this or takes higher vac to close it should be regarded as faulty. The manual calls for 5 to 6" Hg and I think my math is correct but you might want to double check - knowing my mathmatical prowess :oooops:
You can also check it works by means of the dynamic ignition timing but that doesn't tell you that it is in calibration of course.

ok thanks chaps. had a slight missfire at just over 3k (tacho needle jumps UP a little) so thought it might be a poor contact in the switch as it swaps ignition curves.

169.3194 and 203.1833. close enough eh! :yup:thanks. i will test it out as soon as i get back from orkney/parents
