DON'T do what I did with my KTM supermoto, I adjusted the throttle and switch gear to be more comfortable, the throttle then began to stick open, the rubber was just touching the switch gear and instead of applying lateral thinking or just plain common sense to loosen and move it all slightly I wd40'd it, worked a treat until the wd40 worked its way around, along and under the rubber grip.

I was on the way back from DG20, accelerating along the M way when I began to lose power, changed down, a handful of throttle and off like a rocket then no power, what was happening was the grip kept slipping and the throttle kept shutting even though I had or thought I had it wide open :oooops: :oooops:

Pitch black on the hardshoulder dismantling and cleaning the throttle at 1000 at night is no fun . . .
