I'll wait on the results for a bit as I have plenty else to do. If the Bosch don't work out, I'll be hitting up someone here to send some Sagems over to me. I can't get them stateside as none of the major online auto suppliers here carry parts for Citroen/Peugeot/Renault.

Mickrick is using Bosch injectors in his X1, the very same part number that Maz has tested above.

But if you were to buy Sagems, what would you buy? If you want to find a car that uses them, as a guide you are looking for a 160hp 4 cylinder French model (and knowing nothing about cars I don't know what the model would be).

Alternatively, if you really wanted Sagems, you could just buy them from HD...

The earlier quotation from your injector specialist hinted at some worries with flow rates and I'm really not up to the task of remapping as the guy states it wouldn't be plug-n-play. And then there's Maz's picture of an unequal result of a simple test. I'd like to hear Mickrick weigh in on his experiences with the Bosch and what state of tune his bike is in. Mine is just some minor performance mods but I still need to validate the mapping in my ECU.

Come to think of it, my ECM Spy install disappeared off my laptop out of the blue. Still got the CD but not sure about an activation code. Grrrrr, something else to take care of.

I automatically assumed I couldn't buy the the Sagems from the stealer anymore due to them not supporting anything Buell for the past couple years. My logic for wanting them is knowing that the ECM and pump work with them as the factory specified. I bought a spare Race ECM a bit ago and want to compare the maps as I wasn't sure what I already had in the bike wasn't molested improperly.

You wont need to remap as the AFV will take care of any difference in max flow.

But keep your eyes open, Maz may be testing a Bosch injector with a closer flow to the Sagem...

As an aside, I did look for Sagem injectors but was unsuccessful, the more powerful Peugeots appear to use Bosch...

The last few times I've tried to order injectors from H-D, they've either been NLA or on back order :headbang:

What about the non-adjustable EPA zones in the map? Aren't those hard numbers?

What was the spray pattern like compared to the Sagem?

I thought there would be an area as such like on the Power Commanders. My mistake.

So if the spray pattern is better, can I assume, with better atomization, that the ECM will adjust for that somehow and not run hotter due to making more power. I had an issue on another X1 where the head temp sensor was telling the ECM to dump in more fuel to keep the engine cooler. As a result the O2 sensor was getting fouled badly and then it just went into a loop of one sensor trying to compensate for another until it just ran shittier and shittier.

However, I am getting excited at these results.
