Well, here she is with her new suit of clothes on. It was done by a local paintshop, called Liquid near me in in Pontardawe, Swansea, South Wales and it's GORGEOUS!!!

I with you on that Maz, wish the tubers had plastics moulded in the final colour like that rather than having their plastics painted (no dig intended regarding tubers and fuellers)...

Just wait till you see the quality paintwork I have just put onto my SX. Purple metal flake with a flip to a greeny colour. Hand cut buell graphics in silver with the american motorcyles original sticker underneath them. Words cannot describe the crapness of the job. So will post a picture tomorrow.

But in my defence the plan was to have a cover to replace the crap see through blue of my SX and this one came up cheap on fleabay. Was going to rub down and satin black it. But never got round to it and having to park under a tree at work and the sap is covering the bike so decided to fit my 70s custom paint job cover to protect the original.

Like it Longdog, saw someone else do it on Badweb a while ago. I notice you have changed your front mudguard setup (I have done this too) but you don't seem to have installed the support clip from the centre of the fork brace to the underside of the headlamps. Why not?

It's called "individuality" :hehe: And you can't understand because you're a grumpy old fart, (but you did have a No1 mail order and advice service ;) )

Apart from that, I had a set of spare plastics hanging around that needed to be put to good use, (from an insurance claim), so they got painted. If I get stone chips, then ce la vie, I like the way it looks right now.

Because I haven't bought one yet, (Maz stopped his mail order service!), so I'll have to make one!
