Back in the garage this week,
Plumbed the auxiliary fuel pump and solenoids for the nitrous system, fingers crossed it's leak free,
Sorted out the mounting bracket for the bottle, also polished the exhaust and headers again as I got a new mop for the grinder,
Fitted one of those push buttons on the starter solenoid just because you can ;)
I'm going to use the original starter button to squirt the gas and fit another one on the dash panel as well as ignition on and nitrous arming switches.
All being well looking to be back at it in March 🤙

🤔 March? That is a mighty impressive list of upgrades for a lawn mower. Mine will be lucky to get fresh oil.

New coat of paint and a scrub up. A slightly different shade to the original, no thanks to RS Paints, but much better than it was.

It's taken a while, 13 whole weeks but the shock and forks are back. Forks rechromed and serviced with freshly painted bottoms. The shock fully serviced and spring repainted. Shock appears to have gained a refill valve to boot, no matter. Main delay was the new chrome was chipped, assumed in transit. Thankfully Brook Suspension saw this and sent them back and had it rectified.
Wheels back on now so I can finally turn the bike around and finish the other servicing tasks.

Set up the suspension for TOTAL RIDER & CARGO WEIGHT 200 to 230 lbs as per User Manual (https://www.twinmotorcycles.nl/artikele ... 20&aid=329) with a smidgen more Front Rebound damping. I only weigh 180 but regularly carrying child.

2 x 40ish mile rides completed over the weekend on varying road surfaces at road legal speeds and no complaints.

Still not been able to test yet, I probably left it a little late to book a dyno session and finding one reasonably close that would have the experience and know-how to set up nitrous took a bit searching also,
I'm booked in at John Warrington motorcycles (who came highly recommended) near York in the middle of May so will miss a couple of the upcoming events at Santa Pod :(
On the plus side when I do go I can go with the knowledge I won't destroy my engine 🤞🏻 first time out
Can't wait :D

I'm not going mad to start with hopefully around another 20-30 rwhp and see how it goes, I've put a load of weight on again I had lost during the first lockdown so I have to compensate for that too ;)
