Nah, they'll be drawn to the BNR primary drive and I'll think,"I wish I had made that". lOl

I'm still waiting for bearings,as I want to fit these before truing the wheels, so I made up my stainless bearing collars and spacer tube today instead.
I can only post the one picture, as the others are too big, apparently. :headbang:

I've got two clocks set up now. I've got 0.012" radial (up and down) T.I.R and about 0.030" axial (side to side). I'll keep at it for a bit more,as 0.010" or less was my target, but I'm sure that once the tyre is on, I'll be thinking, "Why did I bother"........... lOl

Yeah, I agree. I'll just get it as good as I can. I don't have the time constraints as someone doing it for a living, so I can persevere for a while. Like I said before, by the time the tyre is on, 0.012" will be academic.

Shouldn't really whing because not everyone gets to have a milling machine in the garage, really wanted to fit a power feed though, trouble was that no one makes such a thing for this machine.
I bought one that we use at work and set about fitting it, had to make an adapter shaft for the end of the traverse shaft, turned it and machined a 4 mm keyway on the myford lathe.

Had to turn a shrink fit adapter over the original collar to fit the motor

Had to acurately drill the only bit of cast iron on the end of the traverse and bolt the motor mount I'd made to.

Works a treat now, I fit these to all the millers at work so can't see I'll ever wear it out at home, unbelievably cost £100.00, special offer from MSC with an end of month discount.

Can't beat power feeds all round. The one on the knee broke the other week, that's a lot of winding up and down.

I'm loving that power feed! £100! I didn't know such things existed for retro fit. Brilliant.
I'd have been happy to snatch your hand off for that lovely little Myford, but the timing was wrong. It's one of the nicest set ups I've seen, with the inverter and DRO. Very nice!
But I've been given notice on my rented workshop, so I'm building one at the back of my house. The slab is going down now.
One day I'll have myself a small lathe and a mill :)

Nice to see consistency in motorcycle manufacturing and assembly. Anna's MT-07 needs a new tyre. OK, 5 mins to remove it and take it to shop. Nah.
2 years old (we've had it a year) and axle never been out or seen any sort of lubricant. Maybe assembly guy just gobbed on it before inserting.
