In contrast to Steve's beautiful machine, I made Pash laugh today, as he watched me drag my S1 out of the garage with both wheels locked up.
It's the first time I've opened the garage door since I put it away on the 29th December after the NMM run (I've been away) and the salt was crystallised everywhere.
It did start right up though. :yup:

I freed off the brakes and spent a bit of time on it, but it will need all day tomorrow on it to clean it up.

Oi Ash, you can't be coming on here after handing your notice in and then trying to pervert us with images of other shiny marques you know. ;)
Get yourself a cheap hack and get out there back on two wheels, and keep your no claims bonus ticking over for when you can get a proper beasty again. Did I have any less fun on old mopeds and 250's etc. Definitely not :old:

The next phase.........the results of today's labours 8-)

Image

Extra frame brace welded in, passenger footrest hangers removed, frame and sidestand powder coated white, swinging arm delugged and repolished, new swinging arm bearings fitted, most electrical items and wiring refitted.

Every fastener has been cleaned and polished and Jon went to great lengths to clean every block connector until it looked like new :D

Steve
