I can see how the geometry, ground clearance and weight distribution have been retained...

It`s a Buell powered thing then. Just like most other handmade motorcycle contraptions he made the mistake of using the name of the power plant manufacturer in his title. A good example, VW Trike which you see many advertised as this, suggests it`s a trike made by VW, instead of a trike powered by a VW engine etc. The trike resembles nothing made by VW just as Buell make nothing like this bike so can`t be called a Buell.

What I have an issue with is he loved almost everything about the bike but something wasn`t QUITE right, so he changed EVERYTHING about it :?

Regarding the opinions that have been posted - is it that your regular Buell owner doesn't like the cruiser style of bike, or that they don't like that a Buell has been transformed into something like this?

Not at all, the principal point is that it isn't a Buell, it merely has some bits of one on it. If you put a Ferrari engine in a Trabant and then posted it on a Ferrari enthusiasts website as a Ferrari what would you expect the response to be :?: lOl

I need to correct you, it's referring to a Spanish 'Bee Gees/ABBA' tribute act.....

Yeah, wouldn't slightly higher bars and lower footpegs helped his issue with the riding position?

I'm sorry but I couldn't bring myself to vote for that.
It goes against all things Buell.
I mean he's used the worst parts of an XB and thrown away the good parts. :yc:

It isn't clear from that one picture, but has he hard tailed it?

I must admit, an XB wouldn't wouldn't float to the top of the list I'd consider hardtailing (Say's the man in the process of hardtailing a C90)

I also don't understand why you would want to replace the frame.
