Well I read all about the amazing stuff can do so today I took the bike to the emporium for fettling.

I rode home on a brand new bike.

is that because it has a half decent engine. not that antique air cooled unit?

Nothing wrong with the original air cooled motor ie. the proper one fitted to tube frame models but only Erik could be daft enough to fit one inside a petrol tank......if you've gotta go that route, then at least use a liquid cooled engine

...that boils the fuel, snaps belts (quicker), eats wheel bearings (quicker), leaks clutch fluid (then hides it), fries alternators, needs lots of reflashes...

I started out with nothing and still got most of it left.

I dunno, my XB ate its rear wheel bearing at 2000 miles then the alternator at 6000.
