what diameter bar do i need to buy the go straight in the standard clamps???

7/8ths

The only other recent bikes that have 1" bars as std, that I know of, are certain American pos and Triumph twins from 1958-1961.

on my two days off at the moment, and just thought the easiest way was to ask than trawl through different ways of typing what i needed into google,

'standard diameter of buell xb bars'
'xb bars standard diamiter'
'rethal bars to fit buell xb9sx' etc etc
