Despite Tig's gift of good Karma, the 1125 has eaten another alternator, and this after the harness upgrade... I've emailed Buell UK & Rotax in an effort to get a cure for this nasty habit, and will of course advise if I hear anything... Steve at BB is ordering in some spare units in addition to the one my bike needs just in case... Jeez, I hope I'm the lightening rod for all you guys & gals!!! (Are there any gals on 1125s? (Norrie doesn't count... ))

Given the circumstances, I hope no-one will mind me arriving in Oswestry on a CBR...

You really have had more than your share of bad luck with your bike. Are you sure you're not kicking black cats or something similar on a regular basis . I'll concentrate extra hard on better karma and see you saturday on which ever mode of transport gets you there

Did you run the second alternator before the wiring upgrade ? If so then the damage may already have been done ...
