I bought my XB9SX at 5.5k miles in Jan, but it's 5k service was done at about 4.5k in April (08) so wanted to get it serviced and hopefully lock down this rattling sound.

BUT don't want to pay the earth for it!

Warrs/Thames Valley are all nice folks, but they're also pricey - so any other recommendations?

Don't be so selfish.
If you really love your Buell, you'll take it to Maz. 8-)

Yeah, but a 4 hour (each way) motorway jaunt on a Lightning isn't really a very tempting prospect!

Had I a van and a ramp....

Well, that is half right!

You could go to James Retro, then you could answer your own question. ;)

THanks chaps, good recommendations, but both Canterbury and Poole are both a good, 2 hours away at least.

Maybe I'll have to bite the bulllet and make a day of it

I'd suggest that Poole might be a good 2 hours away or, choosing the right road, a fecking fantastic 3 hours.

Buells are L'Oreal. 8-)
