Been waiting for the sun to come out to get a pic of my S1 as it is now

Last month I had NRHS 1250 big bore kit fitted, along with 536 SE cams, also swapped in some X1 forks and had them anodised black, also a long overdue rear shock unit.

Before the work it was putting out 90 bhp at rear wheel. i ran it in for around 650 miles, and had it tuned by torquetune (buell owner) and got it upto 102 bhp, I think i'll get more once it loosens up a bit, also will try it with a 45mm mikuni instead of the 42mm.

Engine note is different now with the cams fitted, bike is a lot more eager responsive

anyway heres a pic

yes it was 90rwbhp with hsr 42 mikuni, crane hi 4 ignition, race filter and race headers / vance and hines

then had the big bore kit fitted and 536 SE cams and valve springs

with all that fitted and run in, its first run was the same as before 90-91 rwbhp

but by alteriing the fueling and ignition and few other tweeks got it to 102 rwbhp

It helps having it set up by someone that knows buells very well, it just shows that bolting on a kit get you no more power if its not then set up to maximise it.

Its going back on in few weeks to see what its doing - got a few more tweeks in mind.

heads have been lightly fettled, inlet manifold too

I think hsr45 will give more power, its leaning off a bit higher up the rev range
