Hi has anyone fitted the above item with a none standard exhaust? I need some help with brackets. I'm using the Quill!! brackets and although it looks good it sounds awful. Can anyone help?

Quill brackets will break even quicker than the muffler itself and you'll trash that expensive spoiler.

Throw the Quill in the bin and get a decent muffler

 ***HIJACK ALERT***

I'd quite like to spend around £300-400 on a can for my XB9SX (2009), prefer a bolt on which wouldn't need too much tinkering with the running also as I am likely to swap back to the stock can every now and then when the missus wants to come out (she's not a noise fan) Any thoughts :maz: ?

Not sure. What sort of price are we looking at? Quite like the ones with dual out pipes.

Although not Maz's fave by any means (nor Adam's), I would say Remus as:

1. you have the choice of three, yes count them, three baffle configurations.
2. It is stainless
3. It has all the brackets for a chinny chin chin spoiler

Floating out of the mist a bit like that great lump of ice in Titanic. You don't see me til it's too late and I've scuppered your undercarriage. :D

Pash: does this mean I get to keep my nice chinny chin chin spoiler? I very much like the sound of that. Few more weeks, probably getting something fitted at the 1000mile service.

To be fair to Quill, they will replace broken items sometimes - in my experience Remus will just tell you it's your problem and fuck off :x

... and to be fair to Remus, my experience with them has been nothing but positive with regard to warranty responsibility.

£300 gets you a Stealth, and as far as I know nobody has ever had to take one back so there are no warranty implications.

Does no one in the UK modify a stock silencer like Odie at Special O.P.S.?
