when we bought the quill cans they said they came with a lifetime warranty. where they fibbing?
Got a race system on now anyway

Yeah, me too.......... After the rear bracket snapped, (Which was shit and obviously going to break), I made a replica of the Buell style mount and refixed it, but however the outlet pipe sheared off from the rear cap.
A coded welder at work has just disected it and said, 'No wonder it failed, there's a failure point engineered in'.
He also pointed out that, 'It's well made, but just poorly engineered'.

Mine lasted 2500 miles, the clock is ticking Mr Stabby.......... :?

the outlet pipe is just long causing the end cap to wobble - thus causing the rivets to breakway

I know, but my actual cap sheared around the outlet, rivets O.K.
If it didn't have that heavier end trim, it would probably be ok. :roll:
