I saw that, put of buying from the USA, wondered if there was something similar in this country?

Well, two people have now mentioned the Oxford Paintsaver and I had no probs at all buying the protective film from the US... it's less than a tenner at the moment so what's the worst that could happen?

How many endorsements are you actually hoping to get before you buy anything?

So you think I do not then. 10k plus and mine is fine. My last bike had 70k miles on it.

A good point. You have asked lots of questions and many here have given you very, very sound advice. Take it or leave it.

Myself, I wish you would just fuck off out of it

Whine whine whine... although I must admit that I enjoyed what can only have been an attempt at humour when you accused someone else of having attitude problems!

Without exhibiting too much paranoia, I'm guessing I'm one of the usual bunch despite having recommended two different products which will do exactly what you want for less than you have already spent in fecking polishing products.

You are proving yourself to be an immensely tedious and ungrateful little oik and I will attempt, in future, to refrain from offering any sort of helpful suggestions.

Oh, and skip the PM's this time, chap.

You'd have thought so but life will go on, my sleep will be peaceful and the sun will still rise in the morning.

And Mr Acidic will still have scratches on his airbox cover.

I know it's frightening to read the Owner's Manual for your bike ("Failure to follow warnings could result in death or serious injury"), but care and feeding of solid & translucent body panels is covered pretty well.

Owner's Manual Instructions (manuals are online @ Buell website - must register as owner to access).

If I started to feel unpopular on here, I'd be taking a good look at myself (whaddya mean "about time"? )

This isn't a dig, just how I look at it. I've taken the occasional thing to heart but always realise life's too fuckin's short
