Looks like Adam put his on the threads only (and used the stuff without lumps)...

We'll do a "How To" for you :lol:

As long as you include;

1. Threadlock the threads
2. Copperslip the bolt shanks
3. Copperslip the washers

Then you should be fine.

The best advice is to do exactly what the service bulletin tells you to. I posted a link to it somewhere. HTH.

Reckon so Nick. Follow it to the letter, it's vital to get the right tension on the fasteners. There are a couple of potential failure modes for that assembly. But one of the most important potential failures to eliminate is loss of bolt tension leading to fatigue. That's what that bulletin was all about.

Most people that know me know I do my best to cater for everyone, however I just started making them because I could and because there was difficulty/expense getting hold of the Nallin ones and the because others available on the internet may have been of questionable quality, (I have to say I have never seen any of these).

I actually have a fueller (there I've said it now) and made these with the help of :maz: (thanks very much) and we never discussed the standard air box, I wouldn't have asked because if I had one I'd have a k&n on it, I wouldn't rule out doing some but would need an original with this on.

I had 2 anodised, will post picture this week, £145.00 each (anodised), bolts £16.00 pair carriage £7.50 (gone up that but that is cost pretty much).

You'd be buying in a much larger billet and carving away most of it to replicate the original, can't see that it would be viable.
