So maybe if we keep our XB's garaged in pyramids, they'll stay sharp longer?

Nowthen all you Buell Folk out there,
Well wot a little hornet's nest that turn'd out to BEeeee,,ee,,,e[hornets beeeeee's,,,oh forget it] Been out on my X1 today, now when i've been out in slightly warmer weather, once my X1 gets warm it settles down to a nice1100rpm ish at tickover, but today it wouldn't settle any less than 1500rpm ish.
it was ok when i started it ie not ideling too fast, but after 60miles up the M6 at 85ish. 1500rpm tick over. Anyone got any ideas [other than XB's might or might not reguaraly or unreguaraly do this] oh by the way it's an injection X1, I've checkd for trapped cables and the like. Once coold down its back to behaving it's self 1000/1100rpm.
Thanks
Arge.

Whatever it takes, . It'll save you sitting up at 3am to spend so long writing "I don't agree with your opinion".

Nice one, Norm. I am happy that you get "an off" with a dig at me. Sometimes I can be here, at 3am, because I work shifts and I am at work. I think Maz is a Gent who knows his trade and hope he takes my comments as just a bit of Tuber/XB banter. If not then he has my un-reserved apalogies. Sorry :maz: Its just a laugh.

I am sure that you think I do but then again I was making a comment about a bike and not someones sexuality. That is something very personal. If you want to do that then I am happy to talk to you about in person.

Read it back, you are the one who asked if getting an R1 would get you laid. I was just agreeing with you, no need to start coming on to me like that.

Not the case at all, Sir. I thought we might just sit down, have a chat about Buells, talk tyres and your position of my sexuality given the type of bike I ride. It is not a threat it is an invite.
