That has to be thr first time I have seen Mazer keep Quiet

Mine dosn't backfire no. I'm only guessing but it sounds like the tps is out. As in the sudden opening throttle is allowing to much air in and the ecm is not metering the correct amount of fuel as it thinks the throttle is not that open etc, does that make sense

My bike is still running in, not that that makes any difference cause I've had this happen to me on other buells on test rides also. When I'm stationery and just about to pull away I always open and close the throttle quickly before accelerating away - to quickly rev the engine once before releasing the clutch so to speak. I do it on all my bikes but the Buell seems to misfire randomly at this point giving the impression it's going to stall. It's quite scarry when you are sandwiched between two cars at traffic lights and need a quick get away :o. Would changing the exhaust and adding a powerizer and K & N fix this?

I can blip 3x in a row and only once will it misfire - go figure? It's really annoying when you need to pull away quickly and the thing seems to die with a splutter, it's as embarrassing as racing through the gears and you go from 1st into neutral rather than 2nd :oooops: makes you look like a :tosser:

Do you hang you left leg out when braking hard for corners? That may solve your misfire.

He must do, every dealer tells you about this when they hand the bike over to you and I'm pretty sure I read it in the manual too........here we go!!

Yeah... but I thought that me saying that might, if it's not a metaphor too far, raise my head above a parapet which will give me no protection.
