£550 ain't a bad price for standard Buell ones. No one makes them now so you take what you can get if you want to go down that route. I got a super light one with full belly pan brand new for £475 and even travelled to pick it up to save on shipping & damage potential. It was ready to paint which I missed out on doing this year whilst the weather was nice. I was busy doing other more pressing stuff. Cosmetics come last on my list.
There are a few different sorts available & the standard Buell ones are by no means the best & don't use a belly pan. You can sometimes find them in the right colour though on the plus side.
Good luck with the hunt.
