I am trying unsuccessfully up to now to find a link to a free 2009/10 XB12ss workshop manual. I was very kindly sent a pdf link to a 2008 manual but the forks on my machine are slightly different regarding the top adjusters? Build plate says Nov 2008, 1st registered Oct 2009 and the Owners Handbook is for a 2010 machine??? Bike has done 14,500 miles and I have replaced the fuel pump (what a job that was!), battery and the fork oil seals and dust caps. Hoping for it's first MOT today since being laid up since 2016.

Thanks Nutah, at first glance this looks like just what I want.

Looks like that's what you want, John. If your build date is November 08 then your bike is a 2009 model (they start building the following calendar year's bikes around July)
