Theres two dowelz for the cover to locate on ,one is this rear one ,most folk cut it off , I prefer not too :yup:

SO it is mate ,The two dowles Maintian the geometry of the cam bushes in the off side crank case with the bushes in the cam cover :yup:

UPDATES ....Wasnt impressed the woodruff key that cam out ,Made a new on ,NEVER seen one like the one that was in her :shock: :D , used plastacine to get my depth in the main shaft ,Got some 50B flat so used that for my new key ,Material was 7 thou oversize so polished it down 151thou then hand polished to fit on a sharpining stone ,The oil pump drive gear is nice push fit over the new key sorted wb wb wb wb
