Hi all, long time no comment.

Just about to purchase another Buell. Quick question. Are the 984cc and 1203 downpipes the same. I'm going to fit a Remus black stainless silencer. The bike in question was 984cc and been converted to 1203cc, Present owner didn't do the conversion hence the question

TIA

Sorry I cant help with your question but interested to know why you have chosen the Remus, I just looked up the prices and they seem very expensive.,
Not wishing to hi-jack your thread but I am looking around for a replacement for my Ulysses exhaust.

Had one on a previous XB and just liked the sound better than the Jardine and others, not as harsh. Also apparently they will run with the standard ECU settings, so I'm told. Also the black stainless is not that much more expensive than others, the polished stainless one is though!

I put a Remus on my 1125. The welding looked shite. It's now been replaced with a sublime APH silencer.

9 headers are different diameter to 12 headers,
Also inlet into silencer can be different diameter depending
On what year the bike is or what year headers are fitted to it.

Thanks for this. I'll just have to see whether the pipes were changed as well. All I know at present is that the crank is different and the injectors have been changed to suit
