The guy in Newport looks like he does nice stuff. Good to have some references if anyone knows him. I wouldn't mind having a gel insert put inside a Corbin seat to make it usable.

I've got a hold of the Boy in Glasgow that does the custom seats He said he can redo mine in the Corbin style with gel packs and more padding so I think I should be sorted.

I had a seat made for my old Africa Twin by Custom Seats in Coventry (I think), reprofiled with gel pads front and rear.

They did a cracking job, but if I were having another seat made I wouldn’t bother with the gel pads - I found that, contrary to popular belief, they didn’t make the seat ‘comfortable’ and in hot weather they do heat up and retain heat more than foam.

Edit: this lot - http://www.customseats.co.uk/

I'll speak to the boy see what he recomends it's Big Stuart that used to work for Colin that was killed by the tractor last year he owned House of custom in Clydebank ,Stuart is now working under his own company Blazin saddles, he has done some good work. If I can pick up an old seat I will get that done if not I will just get him to rework my own one, but seems a shame as it is completely standard and unmarked.

Just got my seat back today I got the local boy to Re work it he put more padding in it , made it into a gunfighter style seat, and made the cover from 2 different types of real leather , I sat on it and it feels good ,Im looking forward to seeing how a 100 miles feels.
