Riding along today and the nearside footrest came off as I was changing gear. I was going through a 40 zone so didn't have too far to walk back and retrieve it. The bolt had sheared off. Lucky it hadn't happened 10 minutes earlier as I had stood up on them to stretch my legs! Just need to extract the bolt now, I think I will change the other side as well just in case!

And then you find all the drill bits you nicked from work before you left will only drill holes in mars bars at room temperature, never mind battered ones :(
