Obvious point is it's a dealer so never going to be cheapest but
condition & service history is the important bit
looks tidy in the pics , but never buy without a test run & take a mate to view it
an objective opinion is worth it's weight in gold
give em the old "not everyones cup of tea crap " then make a cheeky offer
good luck whatever you decide :yup:

Someone will probably pay that 5k...eventually. Most wouldn't touch it without a FS belt tensioner though.

More 'in the know peeps' should be along soon but at 21k miles and only a few stamps in the maintenance log you'll need a full Maz service cos it'll be knackered. After the :maz: service it'll be a brand new (ish) bike.

Looks to be a nice bike at the right money. Few extra bits - seat cowling, R&G wheel spindle protectors and aftermarket indicators. Kiwi is right, definitely factor in a Free Spirits belt tensioner.

It would have had frame pucks as standard so you need to assume that they have been removed and aftermarket indicators fitted after a drop of some sort so look for any other damage.

Yellow engine management light should go out on starting so there is a problem of some sort. Better read up on here how to read fault codes and identify what the issue is.

I wouldn't trust a non Buell specialist to service it, they'll use the wrong oil and tighten everything to the wrong torque settings. Factor in a Maz 10,000 mile service at around a grand and you'll have a nice bike.

Looks like a cheeky bid of £3500 to take it away as it is once you've determined that belt, bearings and bushes are okay and that you know why the EML is staying on.

Good luck

Steve

Hi all,

That's great info all, thanks.
This is why I joined.
Totally pointed out things I'm not aware of.

The problem I have is I'm 250 miles away

Thanks again
Richard
