A few people on here have shown an interest in having aluminium tanks made for their tube framed Buells and so far there has not been a viable maker , Holtworks is now considering tooling up for a run of them. They need to do around 10 tanks to make it happen. They are looking at the small tank and the Manta tank for the carbed bikes. If it costs £650 for a tank are there any takers , considering that a paint job on a tank can cost £300 with no guarantee of it not blistering again. If you are interested please contact them via http://www.holtworks.co.uk/contents/en-uk/d3.html They would look great with some billet levers and chrome oil filters :rotfl: I know of two of each size so far.Image Look away now :maz:

On the basis that we may not get ten folks for tanks together  count me in for a Manta. If we reach 9, I'll make it 10.

I must be mad.

Well, that's a tick in that box...

They are in the back of beyond but not a million miles away from where I live (about 40, so that's less than a million), if a visit to them is called for if anyone wants a feel for their work I could go meet them and ask some questions (assuming you don't know them well, Topgumm).

I'm interested in a smaller one.
Is it identical to standard tank?

Have just spoken to the company and they seem very helpful, they are only about 45/60 mins from me
and I have offered to supply them with a small and manta tank for their dimensions which they accepted.
Have also spoke about beefing up the swan neck at the front and plating the rear fixing area at the rear.
Sorry Top Gumm did not mean to take over but live so close and it could benefit everyone.

In black and white. Base shape would be the same for both types would it not.
