getting more like what I believe FB is like .

It's almost traditional cabin fever, just without the arguments 8-)

Yes, I miss the old days when we had seasonal falling outs. As Norm once sagely pointed out, most of the members here are more than capable of starting an argument in a phone box, with themselves! The main players are still here, and I can't believe we've all grown up. I certainly haven't lOl

Your post quote is a bit shite Nick if you don't mind me saying so, I don't make bike parts anymore because I don't make bike parts anymore, not because of Brexit or heavy traffic.

I don’t mind you saying that but it’s just another thing to lament over in a VM type way...

Hello Mr V Meldrew type person here again! ;)

I was just contemplating whether we will soon be living in Mrs May’s EU vassel state where little has changed.............or Comrade Corbyn’s EU vassel state where there seems to be loads of money, but you will soon need a barrow load of that money to buy a loaf of bread! :?

This is not a political statement, but more of a lament. All this negotiating seems to have shown us (if we needed reminding ) that our politicians of any persuasion are little more than self serving creeps, or worms. We are fed so much BS by those who have no interest in us making a success of Brexit. No wonder Mssrs Barnier and Juncker are smiling so much now!? :sad1:

Any ideas how to break out? :ill:

I don’t think this thread was meant to be highly intellectual, just a dumping ground to let off a bit of steam! ;)

If there hadn't been any response, I would have corrected it myself, but there was. So no need really.
Thanks for your help.
All the best. Paul.

Maybe as we seem to be a zone for free thinkers, the Kremlin do have a peek on here from time to time! ;)

Hi Folks,

Sorry, I should have said.

Listen whether you voted leave or stay, it's done & we were all responsible.
I personally didn't want Brexit but I never went out canvassing to make sure of that. Despite all the racist shit that was flying around about immigrants & for sure this is why lots of older people voted leave around me, I know because I talked to lots of them whilst walking my dogs.

The only real thing I have noticed is that stuff from the Brave New USA under Trumps control is that I have to pay shitloads of import tax on anything I buy from there. Well fine, if that's one of Trumps good ideas well Fuck him. I just don't buy anything from there now. I doubt that will smash the US economy but it's all I can actively do.

Yeah I suppose food is going up in price, well I now frequent Iceland, Aldi, Lidl & lots of other cheaper shops to compensate for this, yeah stuff I buy is closer to the end sell date but so what. It still means I can afford fuel for my Buell.

Nothing has changed or will change about the exposing of "Fat Cats" you only have to look at the demise of Carrillion to see that much, Or look at who's being scapegoated for the Grenfell Cladding disaster. We have never been able to influence these things & anyone who tries is quickly dealt with.
Just live with it folks & for F**k's sake stop whining. Get out on your Buell & enjoy being alive.

Now there's a good plan.
Have a nice day. Paul.
