.....in the coffin for Buell owners :(
After years of stirling service, making absolutely the finest products for tuber owners, Spondon 440 has made the decision to cease production of all his Buell parts :sad1:

Surely he'll hang on to the programs and would be able to run off eg an engine mount in the future?

The four horsemen of the apocalypse didn't just ride into town.
I do an extremely stressful job, grant you its my own business but I have a business partner that isn't worth a soapy wank so it pretty much comes down to me to sort almost everything and the older I get the harder it gets.
Its also getting harder and harder to make a profit but somehow over the last 18 months we have managed to generate a lot of new customers and business and managed this growth on less staff, all of this has meant me doing more.

Sadly, we make nowt out of making bike bits, as a business we need to make £60 an hour and on bike parts I'd be exaggerating if I said we make £20, I am a business man and it makes no sense at all to stop someone making me £60 p/h to not even cover their wages on something else.

All this said I've always made a lot of stock over the years, Maz has a lot at the Emporium but I also have quite a bit and given that it really doesn't sell that well and it is definitely a shrinking market I would think nothing will run out for at least 12month, I'm not in the game of dropping anyone in the shit, I'm just tired of doing it, sorry.
when I retire from what I'm doing I'd be interested in making parts again because I'd be making them but I won't lie that will be ages.
I thank everyone especially Maz for the business and support over the years.

Andy

And thanks for all that you have done for the community here, Andy. The time that goes into each piece is obvious and every item is a work of art. I feel privileged to have my S1W adorned with your front engine mount, front pulley cover and especially the Pro-Series Air Cleaner Backplate.

Good luck with pushing forward with the business and try to structure things to give yourself a bit more time. I'm not one to preach on this but I hope to reach this happy spot within the next 12 months.

Steve
