Hi guys just thought I'd talk about my xb9s for a while ,today I fitted my lucky hands pump gear price of piss lot of agro, for those interested the original felt gritty and sharp edges but by no stretch no good I changed it because a close friend had a failure and a scrap xb12,my reason. For this post is I can't think of any serious problems I've had with her apart from maintenance which affects all brands,I had the burned out plug on v/r so hard wired it done breather mod saves a dirty air sensor I've got a mild gas flow it doesn't really need it but hey ho ! It's travelled home in a truck a couple of times but I'm the dumb ads it was only a fuse ,the bAttery discharged on a trip of 800km s with my son sleeping on the back in monsoon rain ,that's riding,re charged the bAttery and no more problematic had about 6 battery' s, I had go open the engine only because the count at Heathrow put the forklift tines through the push rod covers ,no compo ,I'm now doing a 15 yr overhaul it's been heavily nodded for 15yrs now we are going to the next level, thumbs up Eric I got a good one. !!

Two questions.
Has there been an explosion in your garage? and Is that Willy Buell's fan? :D
Good luck with the rebuild :yup:

It reminds me of the official Yamaha Marine workshop in Doha, except that has about 20 engines in bits all over the floor and about 20 Indians sitting on the floor working on them, with one (or maybe less) toolkit between them. No workbenches at all :P
