Hmmm.......interesting read but am I the only person left thinking that maybe Erik should have listened to his father ? If he had, maybe the various Buell business platforms wouldn't have failed due to financial burdens !
Everyone I've spoken to over the years has told me the same thing ie. whenever Erik was in a board meeting, tech meeting, sales meeting, whatever meeting, he would always dismiss out of hand anything that didn't fit his way of thinking.
Dont get me wrong, I love Erik to death......a great engineer but a shite businessman :)

Have to agree with Maz. He has a great attitude and this would have helped him develop a better motorcycle (by listening the experts). Unfortunately, the experts used for bike development were probably not the ones to listen to when making important business decisions. 'Horses for courses' I guess.
