Thanks

How many miles and has it had the oil pump drive gear done? No belt tensioner and no Maz nipple. Looks shiny though. :yup:

Oil pump drive on that year is a killer as is the output shafts bearing. Do a search on here for a nipple and just believe me about the oil pump drive or look in my workshop at an example 😂😂😂😂😂. Take the oil pump of and look up at the drive gear remembering to turn it as they do not wear evenly then teeth break of. PM me if you need details. 🖒 Maz designed and came up with the nipple mod. Could have save loads of money if they had been fitted from new. Ask his advice, he's a clever Son of a buell engineer 😂😂😂😂

Mmm. Second thoughts then. This bike has no service history. Don't think I wanna buy it just on aesthetic condition hoping I can find out something about it's past afterwards. Might be an expensive start to ownership replacing all the weak points just in case. How much would it be to get a workshop to fit the oil pump gear. Anyone know? :?: :o
