I took the xb12xt over to palmers (as they are only down the road from me - Braintree), to collect bracketry for making my screen adjustable. Very friendly guy (owner), proceeded to fit the bracketry to my bike (for free), taking as much care of my bike as I would have. During the instalation he fitted a rubber/ soft nylon/ poly? disc to my front engine mount (reducing the air gap, prolonging the life of the isolator), just because he had them.
The owner explained that his business started with him developing parts for his own Ullysse before tinitus forced him to sell the bike, he still has fond memories of his Buell.
This was just a short post to say that the service received by Palmers, the quality of the parts and the owners friendliness/ knowledge was exceptional and would recommend the company whole heartidly

He's not a mechanic, Jill. He's a manufacturer of a range of parts and accessories and it's these that he has fitted to Graeme's bike.
