I've no idea how these affect the superb chassis that Erik designed, but I would proceed with caution. I'm basing this after my experience of fitting a lowering kit on a Fireblade for a short arse riding companion. It turned his previously fine handling bike into a machine that's reluctant to turn in (the forks were sorted too). His lowered bike now drags it's pegs when the pace picks up.

Hey Adam, you were supposed to say something like...

If you have trouble touching the floor, take the seat cover off and cut away at the sides of the seat, staple back on them carefully with a heat gun on the flappy bits of cover and it shrinks etc. Sides make a bigger impact than top. Did it for Mrs Adam etc.

Apologies if I got any of that wrong.

Sorry Pash lOl You're quite right. I did this on her XB, and it worked a treat for her at 5'4'' :). A pan of boiling water over the seat after you've been mucking about with it, takes creases out of the cover and tightens it up a bit.
