Bought a 2009 XB12XT last week, as hopefully a way of increasing my saddle time. Ended up buying the bike blind through eBay, the risks were high and my expectations were kept deliberately low, it all came good - the bike just needed love in the cleaning department, she's very tidy and with the exception of a Remus bog standard (think I'll leave it that way).
Already covered more miles on this in a few days, than I average in a month on my M2 and loving it. Impressed with both the comfort and handling, think I'm turning into a bit of a ully fan. Who would of thought.

Thats really nice! I'd love one for touring.

Well done on the blind ebay sale. Sometimes ya just gotta look at the sellers profile and go for it.

You big softy... I love a bit of risk, I bought one S1 (still have it) and two S1ws (one with restone) off eBay without seeing them and they all came from the states... I also bought my X1 without seeing it, although I did go and pick it up post payment...

Well done. There's a lot more to these fuellers than those who haven't owned them believe. I've had mine ten years this year. It's had the headstock wiring problem and it ate an ECU four years ago which according to maz is a rarity for a Fueller. Other than that it's been ten years of smiles. I love the way you can pile it into a corner without shutting off. It always brings the hooligan out in me when I come back over the snake pass A57. :yup:

It's been a change of mindset, smoothed out my riding style a lot. Due to its sure footedness I probably am carrying more corner speed on it compared to my tuber and it all feels effortless. The +'s definitely out way the minor -'s. Enjoying it so far, really happy that distance is an option again.
