Hi all,

I have a love of bikes and a love of photography. When the 2 come together with a bit of artistic flare, it can make for some stunning shots.

I have found these pics on an american Buell site and was blown away by some of them.

what do you think ?

Nice.
You shouldn't have trouble filling the 2018 calendar now, eh Pash!
But I'm not sure that the letters H,E.R & O are acceptable in any pic of a Buell....

Looks good King. I think those CRs would be near perfect with a different pipe.

Love those tiny plates...can we get away with that here in the UK, mine is like a billboard and I hate it. Was told if I get a smaller one the po-po will hassle me...hardly see any cops here, well, none in marked cars at least.

my plate is 7.5 x 6 inches in standard fort. never been stopped and always had smaller p;ates.

TBH, i think the cops dont really bother with small plates and dark visors anymore. (unless you are taking the piss big time)

like these

Not always ignored, I was taken to court over plate size. The local paper covered the case with the headline ' Size does matter'. The fine was nothing compared to the humiliating jokes that followed.

Our local Rozzers were having a general road safety check, where they filtered everyone on a certain road in to have a look at their vehicles.

The bike cop who looked over my EBR was very kind and only gave me a producer. I am sure that it was because I passed the attitude test and the fact that he was really excited to see an EBR in the flesh that he went with the less painful option.

The plate was only 1/3 the size of the standard plate - though the font was slightly undersized.

Like Magz says, Plod up in Wales are generally very tolerant on plates, visors etc unless you're taking the piss. There's definitely an attitude test though. I've been let off things that I'd have nicked me for if I'd been a Copper lOl Just speaking as I find lOl

Many years ago I saw a belter of a plate: legal size, legal numbers & letters, but the yellow reflective material was a yellow tinted mirror.

Result , absolutely unreadable from any position.

On my old XS chop, I had a number plate that which had a 45 degree bend in the middle. The original intent was to get it to follow the lines of the bike, a side effect was that where ever you viewed it from, you could either read the top line or the bottom line but never both. Never got pulled on this :yup:
