Hi.
Just bought a new single outlet APH exhaust from my XB9 Firebolt... the issue I have is that the front metal exhaust strap isn't long enough to go round the new pipe.
Maybe 5 / 6 mm too short for the screw thread to reach the nut - so needs to be 20 / 25mm longer to then be able to tighten.
what do you think ?

Best check with Alan (Albert666) cos I thought the straps fitted fine. May be a mounting issue...

When I fitted my Albert back in January, I think it was, I seem to remember you have to cut some of the sleeve off the fixed nut on the strap. This gives the strap enough extra length for it to come together enough to catch the bolt.
I'm also pretty sure there were instructions enclosed with my Albert explaining this.
