Hi, I saw these online, and wondered what people think they would be like at speed and in traffic...

At speed they wont be scooping air into the radiator, but in slow traffic they are more open so wouldnt be holding the hot air in the scoop. What do you think? I just hate the look of the standard ones!

I'm not questioning the look, purely their cooling capabilities.

I have also since discovered that there is a scoop on the inside of the radiator, rather than the outside like standard.

No, some of us have the intelligence to source our own answers through research on Google and other media...instead of being idle and relying on other people to do the work

So you're saying this entire forum is useless as all you need is Google? I did search first. Think before you insult people.

Firstly if I have insulted you...it's going to be piss easier in the future!
No, not at all. Many folk on here have taken recommendations such as Free spirits belt tensioner, Mikuni HSR 42 (for real Buells) and so on
And while Google and other media do have their place, an " "owners group" such as this is a valuable resource for information, most of which has been suggested through major research and minor trial and error
May I suggest then, that YOU contact the manufacturer (if you can be arsed) and ask them for more information on their product, such as diagrams and graphs ( hopefully done though extensive research and development) showing the comparison between what they offer and the stock Buell equipment

1. They don't make them anymore.
2. So if this forum "is a valuable resource for information" why are you calling me idle after I did the research, couldn't find much and then asked for the opinions of people on this forum in case any had experience with them? Isn't that exactly what it's for?
3. Thank you for your insults and help on this matter.

Seems like cabin fever has set in early this year. And it isn't even winter yet.

You didn't inform us that "after extensive research and enquiry" was made you couldn't find the answer to your problem...therefore you only gave us half of the information required and relied on us to give an uninformed opinion (there is an alternative UKBEG site elsewhere for that)

You're welcome

Well, there's a bike for sale with them on, so even though you can't buy them new or ask the manufacturer (Eskalation) what they're like, I can still end up having them if I so choose. I also can't ask the previous owner what they were like because it's being sold by a shop. I also asked them for photos and that's how I discovered that they have hidden scoops on the inside. That's when (after doing all that research trying to find who made them and further info on them) I decided to ask for people's opinions on here.

I thought that was a perfectly reasonable process. But, apparently I was wrong asking for help after coming up with no answer after my own research.
