Should have taken it to Maz trev. Bet he has an ecu in stock as well. An xb9 ecu with a reflash for a xb12 map will also work. The 90 quid an hour HD will charge you while they fanny about, that's what's gonna hurt the most.

I wasn't knocking HDC specifically but HD prices in general. Yes they have massive overheads compared to maz. But don't forget that HD have dropped Buell like a hot potato in all but a few dealerships. 90 quid an hour labour rate is still a bit salty from any dealership. Last time the subject came up in conversation maz's were less than half that and he's got the expertise to know if the ECU is cooked a lot quicker than all HD spannermen.........Dave.
PS I sometimes ride over to HDC for a coffee on the S1 to show 'em what they're missing :hehe:

Any cakes?

I'm not a cake person, or biscuits or pizzas and kebabs. I think I may be a bit sad. :run:

Hey Mr P, that yellow and pink Avatar you have, is that one of them new fangled ECM things disguised as a cake ??? Bet Maz could download that in two seconds flat, and sort its problems out.
As they say " let the spanner see the nut " !!! :shut:

Yeah, but that takes the biscuit. Is that why some of them stop playing and get fat ? Ooops sorry wrong bunch. But does he have an ECM hidden that just wants a new map ? :hehe:

As an old friend of mine would call it, window cake... It's a window to the world of Buell...

That poor bloke that wanted his bike fixed must think he's on the site for the "Great British Bake Off". Anyway lets knock HD anymore, some of the parts are handy ! :rotfl:

It's in harleyworld in chesterfield at the moment. They have fitted new throttle cables and are trying to set the tps but think the Ecb might not be talking to the fuel pump. More info coming tomorrow.

Did we get that info? Or have you retrieved your scoot and taken it to :maz: ?

I have no say in the choice of birthday party venue, if I did we would be eating cake locally to me...

Polite cough, that's not strictly true young Nicholas...

Using Riders, Bristol was suggested after the demise of Black Bear but nothing happened. With the help of Patrick at HarleyWorld we managed to sort something out for this year. Despite the cold weather there was a good turnout and it was well received.

Obviously Chesterfield isn't convenient for everyone but we've chosen the May Day Bank Holiday weekend so it gives those from further afield the opportunity to visit the Peak District if they so wish.

Just an idea, organise something at Riders on the same weekend and call it 'UKBEG 19th Birthday Brunch South' :D.....

I haven't a clue about ECM's, sorry....
