One of the chaps at work had an M2 once. It was Orange, with a black frame - I think!

The registration was Y61 TGE. He says that he would buy it back, if he could find it.

I have told him to get registered on here, but he's too chicken! lOl He has loads of really entertaining stories, mainly from his many years as a Marshall on the IOM - but many others from random encounters. He would fit right in with all the other maniacs around here and keep us all well entertained. I shall keep pestering him.

Anyhoo - do any of you lot know where his beloved old M2 is now???

It has not been stolen or exported. It has a SORN and has not been taxed since June 2015.
So it looks to still be in existence, although not been used for some time.

I've got an app on my phone called Total Car Check. You tap in the vehicle reg number, and it gives MOT history and mileage as well. And that bike has only done a few thousand miles in the last 5 years. I believe that if you write to the DVLA with a good enough reason, they will let you have the owners address. I don't know if wanting to buy the vehicle could be considered to be good enough reason, but would think its worth a try.

Intended for 'hit-and-run' type incidents and strictly 'need to know' but widely abused by (and criticised for) parking enforcers....
Tell them it's blocking you in... but be prepared for them to tell you otherwise! :rotfl:
