I have recently imported an 1125CR from America and am having issues registering it with the DVLA.

The US registration was not sent to me so I can't use that.

Anyone have any useful experience with importing from the US?

Thanks.

Phone dvla if you`re not sure, be polite ,and they will help. They have sent me two lots of forms dealing with imports and lost v5`s, can`t fault them.

As above, the DVLA were surprisingly helpful when I brought in my T150 Trident. Proof of import duty being paid will be needed from HMRC.

You will probably need a conformity test, as no pink slip available, customs paperwork for duty paid is a must, be careful they might want to give it a Q plate, be polite and they normally will help quite a bit, aggravate them and you will jump through hoops

:yt: Conformity may be as easy as a left dip headlight as MPH is same as States on dash. They rarely push Q plates now on standard vehicles when I asked, preferring age related .
