Was the side stand on the S1 White Lightnings originally grey :?:
Had a spare stand powder coated white to match the frame, may look better .

Maybe but 1st consideration was a practical one ie. why paint or powder coat a stand that you're gonna abuse with ya boots......properly applied hard chrome is indestructable

Good point Maz. Magz is seriously considering getting some chrome on her X1 after seeing that stunning example in your workshop. She was quite taken with it :yup:

Mine's powder coated white :D Less is more I was always told. Would you like a chrome pig with illuminated eyes to mount on your front fender, Maz?

You're easy :rotfl:

The SX is going brilliantly by the way. Gear indicator is showing 5th as 4th and 6th as 5th but that's an ECM issue which we'll sort later.

It really has crazy fast acceleration and the 33 rear sprocket is great. We'll probably step up to 34 if Magz gets on with it as it's much more real world.

Oil leaks aren't showing either :yup:

Did 10 teeth break off that sprocket already ?

......probably helps having the correct quantity of oil :)

:rotfl: Nope. I've been keeping an eye on it and it looks fine - some marking on the teeth but no significant wear. We'll see what it's like after the track day :D
