I've noticed that the small bit of the "high grip type stuff" :oooops: that was missing on my rear pulley has now become a bigger bit with the metal underneath now showing through.

Is there any way i can sotp it getting worse or shuold i just stop being gay and accept that fact that i've done 5k since jan and it's called wear and tear ?

Apologies for the truely shit descriptions ! :tosser:

Mine is doing the same (07 STT) and got paint flaking off the pulley on the sides too.

I'll be taking it in for a replacement on warranty.

I got a replacement under warranty. Buell need to know that the finish is variable on these parts. They will know when a warranty claim goes in...

Check the corners of the seat where they meet the tank, my corners wore through and had a new one fitted with plastic protectors on the corners (Why couldn't they have added those to start with  )
