The same principle as that, but rather than adjusting it to the correct size, it worked by closing as you turned it to undo the nut. So the more force you put on to loosen the nut, the tighter it gripped.

Worked a treat actually. The stiltson was gripping it very well, but was too awkward to use in such a tight space. This socket gripped, got very tight, felt like it wasn't going to move, then freed the nut off. Would happily use it again.

I just with I'd realised it was a long bolt, so while turning the 37mm nut, there was a 19mm bolt head on the bottom that was spinning round and round… Assumed it would be like the other forks and the stem would be threaded.

Not sure I'll be able to find them at the moment, theres bits of dragstar everywhere! Engine all over the bench, frame, rank, mudguards and other bits scattered around the rest of the garage.

But as it's removed now, I'm not really bothered, it'll hopefully be going on eBay soon!
