Just had a shock - the fkwit who decided to cut out a tank pad to save a few quid stuck it on the tank with common household adhesive. So what you may ask, well it has reacted with the paint and disolved/eaten it away so when I removed it it has left a right mess for me to deal with. I'm not a fan of tank pads, anyway will have to have it resprayed and blended in. Any idea of the paint code? It's molten orange frame with a black tank, perhaps someone with an onld prochure can look the paint name up.

Paint codes are here but isn't black just black? It's not s colour, it's a tone...

By the way, where did you find your cyclone?

I want my baby back. ;)
Think you'll find there are almost as many blacks as there are whites...

I bought it from a guy in Southampton last week.
Like I said I bought one like this new in 2001 and had it for 5 years, during which time I transformed it.
Got 14.5k miles on it.

Ha ha some jokers on here - I'm going with Carbon, but my local bodyshop will match it up.
I like to be different so I've ordered a black leather piece and will make a tank bra for it untill I decide what to do. I'd like to paint the bodywork, but haven't decided which color goes best with the molten orange frame. I'd like a dark candy colour that changes in sunlight.
In the meantime new black/orange mirrors are on their way, the flashing spark plug caps are on, orange exhaust wrap, orange ignition leads, new rear tyre, and looking at ideas for the tail and front. Would like an old school large chrome headlight.

OOOOOH No. I don't like those. I've taken the tank to my local bodyshop to be resprayed. Should be back to me next week. I have a choice now of what tank decals to put on. Might go for an orange pegasus or I've found this that I like. Maybe Chrome orange for the Letters and orange for the flames.
